This is actually a really genious idea! :) The price for a medium quality drone battery goes from $20 and up, and they don't last that long so after a while, you will have to buy a new one. This would cut down on the spare parts cost significantly! But, too bad it is still not available to buy but only fund the project and get the drone after a few months. In the meantime, I suggest checking out an article I found on the web, talking about how to extend your drone's flight time and prolong the life span of your batteries: http://mydronelab.com/blog/extending-drone-battery-life.html
